VPS-Medium – your own Debian 13 Linux server
A small virtual private server for your websites, Linux applications, APIs, and development or test environments. VPS-Medium gives you your own operating system and the freedom to install the software you need.

Operating system: Debian 13 Linux. The server runs as a virtual machine in a Proxmox environment, with disk space on ZFS storage.
Internet connection: 2 Gbit/s inbound and 2 Gbit/s outbound. Actual transfer speeds depend on factors such as network load and the other end of the connection. The stated connection speed is not a guaranteed sustained transfer rate.
What can you use VPS-Medium for?
VPS-Medium is suited to lightweight web services, your own applications and exploring Linux. Choose software that fits the current CPU, memory and disk resources shown on this product page. Resource-intensive applications or large amounts of data may require more capacity.
Your web address with automatic HTTPS
Your VPS automatically receives a unique tracker-networks.org subdomain. Its exact address appears under My Account → VPS. The name starts with tn-vps- and includes a unique server allocation identifier. You do not need to purchase a domain to use this address.
- Install your preferred web server or application on the VPS and configure it to listen on HTTP port 80 on the server's network interface, not just localhost.
- If you use your own firewall, allow connections to port 80 from gateway
10.80.0.1. Configure your application to accept its assigned hostname.
- Open the https:// address shown in your account. The Tracker-Networks gateway forwards requests to port 80 on your VPS. Plain HTTP requests automatically redirect to HTTPS.
A certificate is included for this address: we obtain and automatically renew its Let's Encrypt certificate on the gateway. You do not need to obtain or install a separate certificate for this address. Initial DNS and certificate setup may take a few minutes.
HTTPS encryption terminates at the gateway; the connection from the gateway to your VPS uses HTTP port 80 on the isolated private network. Your application may need to recognise the gateway's forwarded HTTPS information to avoid redirect loops. Trust forwarded information only from gateway 10.80.0.1.
Your dedicated SSH port and TCP/UDP port range remain available for other services. This automatic HTTPS proxy covers the assigned hostname and port 80 on your VPS, not your own domain names or every service in the port range. The hostname and proxy route are removed when the VPS service is deleted.
This is still a self-managed VPS: you are responsible for installing and updating the web server and applications, their security and content, and your own backups.
Account management and SSH access
The server owner can view server status, resources and IP address information under My Account → VPS. Controls include starting the server, graceful shutdown and reboot. You manage the operating system and your applications over SSH.
A self-managed virtual server
VPS-Medium is not a ready-made web hosting account. You are responsible for installing your software, operating system updates, security and any backups you need. If you prefer website hosting without maintaining an operating system, explore our web hosting packages.
